A Square Year

This was a rather boring and rainy day and I didn’t go out much and didn’t take many pictures. So I didn’t have much to choose from but I guess this picture sums up the day pretty well.

This is the first square color picture and the first one that I slightly edited afterwards. I’ve been so excited about the black&white pictures that I haven’t taken that many color pictures or experimented with the color settings in camera. I think this picture needed a little bit more saturation, but otherwise it’s straight from the camera.

I walk past this point almost everyday when I go for lunch and I even used to live in the red building couple of years ago. For some reason I never really noticed how funny the two buildings actually look like together.

Ruisrock festival was this weekend with about 30 000 daily visitors in quite a small area. Luckily there was some places to relax far away from the crowds. Faith no More was quite impressive!
